Youth Challenge is a nonprofit organization that brings together young people with physical disabilities and teen volunteers through adapted sports and recreational programs. The organization engaged Avanti as a marketing partner to refresh its brand identity and redesign its website.
The first priority was updating the existing logo, which felt dated and did not scale well across digital and print applications. The core branding challenge was preserving the familiarity and trust built over decades while introducing a more modern, inclusive look that reflects Youth Challenge’s mission.
Avanti developed more than 30 logo color and style variations, giving the organization flexibility across use cases. In addition to the logo refresh, Avanti delivered brand guidelines, including updated messaging and documented style standards, to ensure consistency across all future communications.

Youth Challenge also needed a brand overview video to communicate its mission, programs, and impact. Avanti led the creative and production strategy by developing the video storyboard and wireframe, coordinating interviews with key Youth Challenge stakeholders, managing timelines, and securing the required permits to film Youth Challenge programming in the Cleveland Metroparks for on-location b-roll.
Avanti partnered with RedPoint to handle filming and post-production. Youth Challenge recieved a three-minute brand overview video along with three short-form videos highlighting:

The existing Youth Challenge website was difficult to navigate, particularly for users with disabilities, making accessibility and user experience critical priorities. With more than 300 pages and multiple registration and donation workflows, the site had grown complex and difficult to manage. The redesign needed to meet WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards, simplify navigation, strengthen storytelling, and guide users toward clear actions—registering for programs, getting involved, or making a donation—all within the constraints of a nonprofit budget.
The forthcoming Youth Challenge website will deliver a modern, ADA-compliant experience that is intuitive, mobile-friendly, and accessible to all users. With a streamlined user journey, improved usability, and refreshed visuals, Youth Challenge will be better positioned to engage its community, increase participation, and stand out in the nonprofit landscape.
